A naive teenage girl runs away from her strict parents under the belief that she and her equally naive boyfriend will start a new life somewhere else. When her boyfriend fails to arrive at their agreed upon meeting place she is forced to spend her first night alone on the streets of Tehran.

Tedahi (Pegah Ahangarani) and Aydid (Majid Hajizadeh) speak of their dreams in a Tehran park.

The young couple are taken in by the police for not being married.

Tedahi calls an old teacher whom she still respects but is disappointed with the advice she receives.

No longer under the protection of her parents, Tedahi sees the seedier side of Tehran and the the hardships that its less-fortunate inhabitants must endure.
